The conveniently-situated estate, with Rondebult Road on its eastern border and Cinderella Dam to the south, is being developed in three stages.

Phase 1 | Urbika Apartments


The first phase, Urbika Apartments, became available in early 2018 and this close-knit community of 343 rental apartments, in a beautiful, safe and peaceful neighbourhood.


Phase 2 | Urbika Lake Village


Construction for the the second phase, Urbika Lake Village, is about to begin and, once completed, will include 259 freestanding urban homes and townhouses that are for sale to the open market.


Phase 3 | Urbika Parks


The final phase, Urbika Parks, will consist of 498 apartments, bringing the total number of homes to 1,100.

Living in Urbika not only offers you peace of mind and beautiful living, but also saves you time by being conveniently situated. Within the immediate surroundings lie not only Boksburg and Germiston, but also Kempton Park, Benoni, Springs, Sunward Park, Vosloorus and Alberton.


Urbika is 14km from the Germiston CBD, with Johannesburg just another 12km beyond that, while the Pretoria CBD is an accessible 60 km away. With Rondebult Road right outside the Urbika gate, reaching any of these areas by car, taxi or bus is easy. The road also provides easy access to the N17, N12 and O.R. Tambo International Airport, while the new route for the Harambee Bus will extend along here soon.


The cornerstone of every thriving neighbourhood is a good school and Urbika is partnering with one of South Africa’s most respected independent school networks, Curro, to bring world-class education to your doorstep. In less than a year, Curro Parkdene will be opening its doors on the land directly adjacent to Urbika, making it a safe and easy three minute walk away. The school will include a crèche, primary and high school, catering for children from three years to Grade 8, with Grades 9 to 12 being phased in. The school will add significantly to the educational capacity of the surrounding area.


Good medical care is important and Urbika offers quick access to both Sunward Park Netcare on Bert Lacey Drive, which includes a new pharmacy, and Tambo Memorial Hospital on Railway Road.
